とんぼ玉とは、色ガラスで模様を溶かし込んだ、穴の開いたガラス玉の総称です。ガラス細工ならではの温かみがあり、紐を通してアクセサリーや小物などに利用されます。

【特徴】
バーナーワークという技法でガラスを溶かして作るガラス玉のことです。直径1～4cm程度の大きさのものが多く、美しい色彩と模様が特徴です。
手作りならではの味わいと製作者の個性が表れ、2つとして同じ物がありません

【歴史】
メソポタミアやエジプトでは3,500年以上前から作られていました

[Characteristics]
These are glass beads made by melting glass using a technique called burner work. They are often about 1 to 4 cm in diameter, and are characterized by their beautiful colors and patterns.

They have the unique flavor of being handmade and the individuality of the maker is reflected, and no two are the same.

They have been made in Mesopotamia and Egypt for over 3,500 years.
